What is the Color of Water?

As an extension to my color research, I asked twenty international artists to choose one color that defines the concept of water for them. In the video you can see the twenty answers merged together. Each individual slide moves from one color to the next, using a delicate, gradient transition in between.

The egg room

At the Hidden River in Los Angeles

This wall installation was created with candy eggs, coated with acrylic spray, and glued individually to the blue colored wall. There are over 3500 pieces of candy that help create the element of texture and pattern.

Yellow sky is one of six paintings in a series, combining large chunks of solid colors, discovering the symbiosis relationship between internal and external spaces.

The flashy blue color delivers oceanic ambience, while the rest of the colors create the rhythm. When observing these paintings, one can resonate to their own inner rhythm. The repetitive shapes create a pattern of various landscapes such as: waves, mountains, and islands.

This painting contains segments that look handmade and others that appear digital. This contrast opens up a dialogue between freeform and geometric shape. The opposing forces meeting at the horizon point create a sense of tension, defining the meaning of a border.

The Desert and City paintings hold solid free and geometric forms. These are identical elements that have been applied differently, and which create a game between compressed and diluted surfaces. The sense of soul expansion is expressed in the white spaces within the desert painting. The contrast between the white spaces and the condensed, colored layers, mirror the differences between the city and the desert.

This wall and floor site-specific installation was created with wallpaper stickers and tape.  Using the painting's motifs to create a 3D interactive experience. The colors and shapes pop out boldly from the painting into the space itself.

SOUL + SKY + WATER

NEW YEAR NEW ME

2025-2025-2025

“I see my paintings as a visual extension of my emotional journey in life. A reflection of the struggles and challenges we all have. Climbing a mountain or crossing an ocean are just metaphors of deep tectonic movement happening in our souls. Nature has endless layers, as we have. In paintings, I try to embrace observing nature with an interpretation of what our inner world looks like. I feel that one of my secret missions is to continue to see life

in colour.”

YOU BELONG HERE

video consists of two pieces of footage that run together. On the right side, Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles and on the left side, Pico Island in the Atlantic Ocean. The video was taken with a still camera inside of a moving car. The video explores the rhythm between the city and island, expressed in landscapes, structures, cars and people. The eye constantly jumping between the two footages, popping the question where do I belong?

MAGIC CRYSTALS

A series of fifty-five artificial crystals I made with various materials and structures after long research. It is made with various materials and structures, and required extensive research in order to create. I manipulated each crystal uniquely to produce a different shape, texture, and color.
